C’est ainsi pour restituer un héritage familialqu’elle aborde les thématiques de l’identité afro-descendante et l’impact des minorités dans les musiques électroniques. Basses caverneuses\, breakbeat percutant\, dancehall langoureux ou trap sombre : un croisement des genres à l’image de sa pluralité culturelle. Originaire de la région parisienne et alors active dans la conception d’expositions dans des squats\, Soa420 découvre les musiques électroniques lors d’une année d’étude à Berlin. Conquise par la direction artistique et sociale des clubs berlinois\, elle commence alors à travailler au club Macadam dès son installation à Nantes en 2018. Son expérience de la nuit nantaise l’amène à co-créer Zone Rouge en 2022\, un collectif ayant pour objectif de mettre en lumière les femmes artistes et les minorités dans la culture des musiques électroniques.
